Today, I’m so happy to introduce you to Dagne of Prism of Wellness.
In a nutshell, what are you up to on this earth walk?
I am a healer walking the road less traveled. Through my own self growth, discovery, and healing, I am able to be of better service to others. One of the ways I’ve healed is through diet and lifestyle changes and that’s what led me to become a Holistic Wellness Coach. I want to help others to live their most vibrant and authentic lives.
Do you have a morning routine you can share?
I find my intuition is clearest upon waking, so I try and take a few moments to tune in during this time. Next, since the liver does so much work and detoxing while we sleep, I’ll have a large glass of water with fresh squeezed lemon, followed by a big smoothie. No matter what the rest of the day has in store, this allows me to start it out centered and nourished.
What’s your flavor of spirituality or spiritual practice?
I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, so really everything is spiritual. I practice mindfulness and meditate regularly but it’s not the same every day. I find meditation in so many outlets — from writing, cooking, and sound baths, to the more traditional methods. I have a toolbox full of different modalities to create peace and resilience throughout life’s ups and downs.
How do you take care of your body and mind?
I take care of my body through intuitive eating, tapping into what my body really wants, and feeding it healthy foods. I’m gluten intolerant and mostly vegan so a lot of fruits and veggies. I eat seafood once in awhile in a very conscious way. That said, one thing I’ve learned is to not be too strict with myself and just enjoy life. I’m a Taurus so it’s easy to indulge but it’s all about balance! I move my body regularly through yoga and walking in nature. I take care of my mind through meditation and reading — as long as I continue to learn and grow, I’m happy!
What’s the best thing you did for your business, Prism of Wellness, last year?
The best thing I did for my business last year was to launch it! I’ve been yearning to start my own business since I can remember, but I didn’t have clarity on what it looked like and there was still a lot of fear surrounding it. It was (and still is) a journey but I know I’m living my purpose.
What are you most excited to share with the world this year?
I just created a Mini Meditation Workshop online that I’m really excited to share! It’s a great intro for those new to meditation or struggling to find their groove. It goes over 5 different types so my clients can explore and see what works for them. It also includes an intro and follow up call with me so I can guide and support my clients along their journey inwards.
Do you have a current play on repeat song?
Lately I’ve been loving “Treat you Better” by Rufus du Sol — it’s so uplifting and makes me want to dance!
