The other day I re-heard an Abraham-Hicks talk on Hay House Radio. This time I heard something new, something I was ready to hear, ‘cause it’s all confidential ‘til it’s not.
The gist was: I am (and you are) a powerful creator who has called great, gale force winds of change into my life and then planted my feet firmly in the ground, shouted “I’m not moving!” and am now terrified by the fiercely crashing and painful wind all around me. In actuality, in addition to the wind, there is also a hot air balloon ready to safely take me beyond my wildest dreams on the great winds of change the moment I am willing to go.
For a year and a half I’ve been practicing with this prayer / affirmation / mantra / invitation: I am willing to change. And change I have.
+ New Neural Pathways
+ New Teachers
+ New Kalayana Mitra (sanscrit word for friends on the spiritual path)
I’ve let go of so much to make space for my future to show up, which it has.
I have invitations from beautiful clients to do transformational work in the world. I’ve been identifying my zone of genius — magical dream weaving eye contact conversations with other visionaries + creating art informed by those interactions. I’m learning how to turn over the very important work that Makes Things Happen (taking notes, PR and marketing implementation, writing internet code, accounting) to my grounded and madly talented team members.
Since I’ve been learning how to take care of myself differently in preparation for this time of great change — hello green drinks, happy food, Reiki school, daily prayer + meditation, healing communities, financial planning — I’m able to say YES to the work and life opportunities that light me up and no thanks to invitations that are not quite in alignment.
As I’ve said (and written, chanted, cried, whispered), “I am willing to change,” a zillion times over the past 1.5 years, the winds of change recently picked up speed and I got scared. I stamped my feet in the ground but this time instead of saying, “I’m not moving!” I was able to say, “Help please!”
And oh my gosh, what a gift: Being able to ask people for help who can actually help me.
What came next was a week of receiving: Reiki, massage, Crystal Resonance Therapy, shamanic journeying, sweating it out at a bathhouse, singing bowl meditation, my first ever acupuncture treatment, Skyspace, daily chlorophyll, nurturing community time, shifts in perspective, sharing, listening, and 1000 angels standing with me as I prepare to climb into the hot air balloon. (Plus visualizing a grounding cord to the center of the earth because apparently I can’t only be fire, water, and air to succeed — some earth has gotta make an appearance to maintain a semblance of balance.)
I feel grateful and excited to witness my life shift and see where the great winds of change take me: sun, shadow, dress-up, creation, deep weeping, sweeping laughter, co-creation with You . . . I am ready and willing to change.
I invite you to lean in to the great winds of change in your life today. Your own hot air balloon is gorgeous and waiting for you to climb inside and you don’t have to do it alone.
