My favorite definition of the word “miracle” comes from the metaphysical text A Course In Miracles.
The definition of a miracle simply is a shift in perception. I also hear people say a shift in perspective.
That’s it. You get a miracle — a shift in perspective — and it can completely change our lives, your life, my life.
It’s truly that simple and truly that completely life shattering. And we get as many miracles as we want and are available for. We get to ask for the holy instant of a miracle, a shift in perspective, over and over again.
Some ways to go about inviting a miracle into your experience is to say:
“I’m willing to see this differently.”
I despise the term “fake it til you make it” but I do like the term “faith it til you make it” and you can use that one for miracle making. Don’t worry about what comes next or forcing any change in perspective, trust that it will come. Willingness is everything as far as miracles are concerned.
