Recently I was talking to a friend who said:
“I don’t have time for a morning routine.”
Which was quickly followed up by:
“. . . whoa, I DO have a morning routine, but I hate it. I’m so embarrassed to even tell you what my mornings are like. They’re terrible. When my alarm goes off, I press snooze five times, I check my work email from bed, and then I rush to find nothing for breakfast in the fridge before I
run off to work . . . ”
We all do something in the morning.
The question is, does your morning routine serve you or is there room for conscious and loving improvement? If we don’t engage with intentional practices, then we’ll live our lives based on old habits that don’t actually serve our current circumstances, values, or aspirations.
Purposely cultivating a morning routine has been one of the most beneficial things that I’ve welcomed into my life on the self-care, healing journey — which impacts every aspect of my universe including business, romance, finance, family, creativity, and the list goes on.
Many of the people I work with are entrepreneurs on a spiritual path.
What I hear time and time again from my clients is the fear that they’re going in the wrong direction or aren’t sure if they’re on the right path.
